330 volunteers join forces to remove > 500 kg of waste, raising awareness for cleaner coastlines.

20 September 2025: We at Metrics Global, together with MG Plus Sdn Bhd, proudly held our Beach Clean-Up 3.0 on at Pantai Kelanang, Banting. The event brought together 330 amazing volunteers, whom we fondly call our “warriors,” and together we removed almost 500 kilograms of trash – a total of 6,359 items – highlighting the urgent need to tackle single-use plastics and everyday waste.

Beyond just cleaning the beach, we wanted the day to be fun, meaningful, and educational. Alongside our partners – AACE Malaysia, STEM Academy, ECOSER, and PREFACE — we hosted hands-on eco-workshops for children and families, from plastic crushing demos to recycled craft-making. It was inspiring to see learning, creativity, and sustainability come together in one shared mission.

Since launching our Beach Clean-Up Squad in 2018, we’ve remained dedicated to protecting Malaysia’s coastlines and nurturing a culture of environmental responsibility. Beach Clean-Up 3.0 marks another step in our journey to build a more sustainable future — one act, one community, and one beach at a time.
